GST NUMBER REGISTRATION

There is an Indirect Tax which is called Goods and Services Tax. The GST has come into force in India from 1 July 2017 and has replaced most of the indirect taxes in India. In today's date, if a person wants to do any business related to goods and services, then everyone except small and medium businesses will have to get GST registration compulsorily, without that person or business cannot buy or sell goods or services. 

THRESHOLD LIMIT FOR GST REGSTRATION (From april 2019)

FOR SALES

Exceeds 40 lakhs for normal category states

Exceeds 20 lakhs for special category states

FOR SERVICES

Exceeds 20 lakhs for normal category

Exceeds 10 lakhs for special category

How to apply for GST number ?

Visit official website page of registration

Register your details as per your pan card and business location

And after registration  you have  to login with TRN number

Fill details of business as per your documents and submit form along with required documents 

Documents required for GST number registration 

Proof identity

Pan card 

Proof principal place of business

Any one

Legal ownership document

Electricity bill

Property tax receipt

Municipal khata copy

Rent or lease agreement

Rent agreement with Noc (case lease expiry or rent expiry)
