FOOD LICENSE REGISTRATION IN INDIA

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India was constituted by the Government of India in 2006 under the Food Safety and Standards Act. Which was notified on 1 August 2011 under the Food Safety and Standards Exchange (packaging and labeling) of the Central Government. The job of FSSAI is to provide nutritious food to the people and to maintain its set standards.

Steps to apply food license in india

You have to register on official website of food license india

After registration sign in to official website with active mobile number or email id by filling otp

Then click on apply for new license

you have to select option as trading license or general food license as per your business

You have fill all details of your business

At the end you have to upload Following documents

1.Id proof

2.photo

3.residential proof

4.NOC by officials such as NOC Given by municipal authority or premises authority/ grampanchayat

5.pay fees
